Mary Boylan Obituary (1928 – 2020)



Mary Kathleen “Kay” Boylan, age 92, of Monroe, handed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 in her dwelling surrounded by her loving household and beneath the care of Grace Hospice
Born Might four, 1928, in Monroe, Mary was the daughter of Ora and Marie (Yaeger) Inexperienced. A graduate of Monroe Excessive Faculty, she married the love of her life, Leo Boylan, on December 15, 1946. A devoted homemaker, devoted mom and grandmother, Mary had labored for Pinkus Laboratories taking a medical retirement in 1978. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, a earlier member of its Altar Society; and a Campfire/Bluebird Chief. She had been an avid member of the YMCA water strolling every day and beloved going to bingo on the Knights of Columbus. Mary belonged to the China Portray Guild gifting to many her hand painted treasures. One fall she determined to crochet an afghan for every household and grandchild, making over 20 afghans in report time for Christmas. For a few years, Mary and Leo loved ballroom dancing and each Saturday evening you could possibly discover them with their group of mates at numerous Moose Lodges. They loved touring taking many excursions with Monroe Seniors.
Mary leaves to cherish her reminiscence, Leo, her husband of over 73 years; kids, Kenneth (Scarlett) Boylan, Lorna (Michael) Ansel, Karen Boylan, Douglas Boylan and Karla (David) Evans; and daughter-in-law, Jane Boylan; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; in addition to a sister, Nancy Fetsch.
Sadly she was preceded in dying by a son, Patrick Boylan; 1 grandchild; and 5 siblings, Frank Inexperienced, Thomas Inexperienced, Anne Foley, Patricia Grzesiek and Jack Inexperienced.
A celebration of Mary’s life has been deliberate beneath the course of the Allore Chapel-Martenson Household of Funeral Houses. She is going to lie in State Wednesday, November four, 2020, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church from 11 a.m. till a Mass of Resurrection at 12 midday. Fr. Kishore Battu, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial to comply with in St. Joseph Cemetery.
