BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) —  Beginning Tuesday, a piece of sidewalk in downtown Battle Creek will near pedestrians to permit for an artwork set up by Monument Park.

The sidewalk on the south facet of Michigan Avenue can be closed from Division Road to Hamblin Avenue. The closure can be in place from Tuesday, July 7 to Saturday, July 11, climate allowing.

The painted artwork will say #BlackLivesMatter and #StandInSolidarity. Artists may go within the night after the most well liked a part of the day.

Pedestrians ought to use the Hamblin/Michigan and Division/Michigan crosswalks to entry the opposite facet of the road.
