Wyoming man sentenced to 9 months in jail for poaching deer


SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) – A person has been sentenced to serve 9 months in jail for illegally killing deer in northern Wyoming.

The Sheridan Press reported Gregg Lambdin was convicted of 11 counts of wanton destruction of a giant sport animal in 4th Judicial District Courtroom Thursday.

Officers say a plea settlement requires Lambdin to finish one yr of supervised probation following his launch from the Sheridan County Detention Middle.

Protection lawyer Jeremy Kisling introduced a verify on Lambdin’s behalf for $254,000 in restitution and fines for Lambdin’s offenses.

A district sport warden says greater than 100 deer carcasses have been discovered on Lambdin’s property in November 2018, together with 36 exhibiting proof of gunshots.



The phrases of restitution have been calculated at $four,000 for every animal that was shot, along with $110,000 in fines.
