Windle A. Terry, 77, of Lawton, handed away Wednesday January 13, 2021 at his residence in Lawton, MI.

He was born September 26, 1943 in Courtland , Alabama, the son of the late Auburn Terry and Susie (Kelly) Terry.

Windle loved driving semi for over 48 years, he additionally labored as a heavy tools operator in excavating. He had many curiosity and hobbies, he liked to hunt, fish and work in his backyard. Most of all, Windle had a ardour for drag racing.

On July 5, 2003 he married Patricia (Bauer) Terry who survives.

He’s additionally survived by two sons, James (Belinda) Terry and Windle Lee Terry; one daughter, Jewel (Charles) Hurn, step-daughter, Nicole Smoot,  two sisters, Elaine (John) Mann and Perl Learn; three brothers, Fred (late Nancy) Terry, Roger (Vicki) Terry and Dennis (Onie) Terry; 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Andria, James, Jr., Joshua, Caleb, Bobbi Lynn, Richard, Kaley, Brandon and step-grandchild McKenzie, together with 4 nice grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

Windle was preceded in dying by his sisters, Gail Harris, sister and Brenda Conwell and his brother, Allen Terry.

There will probably be a memorial service held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Freshwater Group Church, 600 East Michigan Ave., Paw Paw with Pastor Troy Gentz officiating.

Memorial contributions could also be made to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.

Preparations have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Residence, Paw Paw.
