A White Rock man has been ordered to pay $15,000 for buying and selling in securities whereas below suspension by the B.C. Securities Fee.
Again in 2013, the BCSC fined Richard Gozdek $65,000 and banned him from taking part within the province’s capital markets for 5 years after he was discovered responsible of promoting $550,778 price of partnership agreements to B.C. traders in a Nevada-based company known as Armadillo, regardless that he was unregistered to promote securities.
In provincial courtroom in Abbotsford on Dec. 23, Gozdek was sentenced to at least one 12 months probation, fined $5,000 and ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution to the sufferer after pleading responsible to breaching the BCSC order by buying and selling in securities.
Two different costs — appearing in a consultative capability within the securities market and fascinating in investor-relations actions — had been stayed.
Gozdek was charged in 2019 following an investigation by the BCSC’s Prison Investigations Department.
