August 13, 2019. NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller speaks to the media in Sydney concerning the arrest of a 21-year-old man who allegedly stabbed a 41-year-old lady to loss of life and injured one other in Sydney’s CBD. Video footage reveals the person, who was armed with a big butchers knife, yelling “Allahu Akbar” on Sydney’s streets. However Mr Fuller says authorities haven’t classed the rampage as a “terrorist incident” and the person was a “lone actor”. “Info was discovered on him to counsel he had some ideologies in relation to terrorism however he has no hyperlinks to terrorism,” Mr Fuller tells the press.
