A 300- stage scholar of Human Anatomy on the College of Calabar, Umo Aniekpeno, was killed in a generator explosion within the South-South metropolis on the weekend.
The student was burnt to demise within the incident which occurred at her mother and father’ residence within the Cross River capital.

Aniekpeno’s classmate, Miracle Ebube, who confirmed the incident to journalists, described the deceased as a devoted scholar.
She mentioned: “I waited patiently to see myself get up from this horrible dream nevertheless it’s dawned on me that Annie has gone for actual. This makes life extra scary and the worry of this gripped me. Annie was so reserved and so devoted to research.”
