A video of R. Kelly being punched by one other inmate in jail reveals that not one guard “raised a finger” to assist him till the assault was properly underway, his legal professionals declare in a brand new courtroom submitting.
Kelly, who was being held in Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Heart on federal intercourse abuse prices, was assaulted in August by Jeremiah Farmer, who had punched the singer repeatedly to get media consideration for himself, CNN reported.
The assault left Kelly with “important bodily and psychological accidents,” the submitting stated. His legal professionals haven’t launched the video.
A guard, recognized by middle officers as “D. Szyhowski,” ordered Farmer to cease beating Kelly and sprayed Farmer with pepper spray, CNN reported, citing a Bureau of Jail report.
Of their submitting Friday, Kelly’s attorneys wrote that Farmer “roamed an important distance throughout the MCC earlier than finishing up that act, with none opposition.
