ADRIAN TWP. — A braking challenge Tuesday is being checked out as the first explanation for a crash Tuesday that triggered a truck hauling manure to overturn and spill its load.
Adrian Township Police Chief Gary Hanselman mentioned in a phone message Wednesday the driving force of the truck was eastbound on Hunt Highway when he reported he had a braking downside, and to keep away from hitting one other automotive on the intersection, did a “exhausting” swing to the proper onto Hunt Highway.
Hanselman mentioned “the power of gravity” triggered the truck to tip over and spill the load into the ditch on the east facet of the freeway. The driving force sustained minor accidents however refused therapy, in line with Hanselman.
The identification of the driving force was not instantly launched. Adrian Township police have been assisted on the scene by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Workplace and Adrian Township Fireplace Division.
