It’s beginning to look quite a bit like Christmas on the Plaza Pointe-Claire.
A number of neighborhood teams have been laborious at work, adorning Christmas timber on the West Island mall on Friday night.
And whereas the temper was festive, a severe competitors is underway.
The neighborhood organizations are participating within the West Island Neighborhood Shares (WICS) annual Christmas tree contest.
Up for grabs is a $500 prize, generously donated by plaza retailers.
Members of the general public are invited to admire the timber and vote for his or her favorite one.

Voting ends on Dec. 13 and the winner might be introduced on Dec. 16.
West Island Neighborhood Shares is a non-profit group that helps assist 40 neighborhood organizations within the West Island.
