Over $12,000 seized on account of heroin investigation in Springfield, one arrested

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – Detectives arrested a person Thursday night time after an investigation into heroin distribution out of a house on Worcester Road in Springfield.

Springfield Police Division spokesman Ryan Walsh instructed 22Information, detectives carried out a tactical cease of 44-year-old Samuel Lozada’s automobile on Talcott Avenue round 6:00 p.m. Detectives seized 55 baggage of heroin and arrested Lozada.

Walsh mentioned officers then executed a search warrant inside Lozada’s condo and seized a further 119 baggage of heroin in addition to $12,zero46 in money.

Lozada is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a category A drug.
