Ottawa police officer dies by suicide – Ottawa


Ottawa Police say an officer died by suicide Friday night time.

The pressure says it’s working to help the officer’s household and members of the pressure.

Peter Sloly, the incoming police chief, prolonged his condolences on-line to the Ottawa Police for what he says is a tragic loss.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says on-line that his coronary heart goes out to the law enforcement officials and civilian workers at Ottawa Police.

The pressure didn’t disclose the title of the officer.

The incident comes on the identical weekend because the Police and Peace Officers’ Nationwide Memorial Day, which commemorates fallen officers.
