One man injured, driver in jail after head-on crash in Allegan County | Information


A person who says he was making an attempt to move one other automobile collided with a Plainwell man, sending him to the hospital with life threatening accidents.

HEATH TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are saying man is in custody for excellent warrants after crashing right into a automobile on an Allegan County freeway.

Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on M-40 at 127th Avenue at 7:20 A.M. Thursday, January 23rd.

Authorities on the scene say they consider a pick-up truck at a cease was handed by driver Devin Hunter of Allegan whereas they waited to make a left flip. Driving into the opposite northbound lane, Hunter collided head-on with a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta pushed by an unnamed man from Plainwell. 

The person was severely injured and needed to be extracted by emergency crews from his automobile. He was despatched to be handled at a Grand Rapids Hospital and his present situation has not been launched presently.

Hunter was unhurt within the crash, and was taken into custody by police on the scene after they turned conscious of a number of excellent warrants for his arrest. The Allegan County Sheriff’s Workplace has not specified what the warrants had been for. 

The crash is presently below investigation by the sherrif’s workplace crash reconstruction crew.
