Magnitude four.9 quake hits Iran-Iraq border area


An earthquake of magnitude four.9 struck the Iran-Iraq border area on Wednesday at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), the U.S. Geological Survey stated.

Iranian media stated there was no fast data on casualties or harm from the quake, which felt in Iran’s western Ilam province.
