Lin-Manuel Miranda says film adaptation of ‘Hamilton’ unlikely

Lin-Manuel Miranda says it’s unlikely that there’ll ever be a film model of “Hamilton.” After a filmed model of the Broadway musical was launched on Disney+ final week, its creator told Variety, “I don’t love a number of film musicals primarily based on exhibits, as a result of it’s onerous to stay the touchdown.”

Plus, “I don’t know what a cinematic model of ‘Hamilton’ seems to be like. If I had, I’d have written it as a film.”
