Knesset to vote on privatizing Military Radio, KAN

The Knesset will vote on two payments by Likud MK Shlomo Karai to denationalise Military Radio and the KAN Israeli Public Broadcasting Company, after the Knesset presidium accepted on Monday the inserting of the payments earlier than the plenum.

If the legislation regarding Military Radio is handed, the station will likely be separated from the IDF and can grow to be an unbiased, privately-owned station. The IDF unit that runs Military Radio will shut with two years from the passing of the legislation.
