Julie Mae Burfield, 26, of Hartford out of the blue handed away on Tuesday, Could 26, 2020.
She was born Feb. 10, 1994, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Jeffery and Linda (Viscuso) Briney.
Julie was a tender spoken, free spirit with an eternally giving coronary heart. She beloved being outside and at all times appeared to be on an journey. Julie beloved her household and will likely be actually missed by all who knew her.
On April 19, 2014, Julie was united in marriage with Michael Burfield, and he survives; together with a son, Wyatt, who was the sunshine of her life. She can also be survived by her mother and father; two sisters, Jessica (Chad) Ottinger of Dowagiac and Sara (Spencer) Simpson of Benton Harbor; grandparents, Hank and Viola Viscuso of Coloma and Linda Jennings of Riverside; 4 nieces; two nephews; and quite a few different members of the family and associates.
As to the present restrictions, a graveside celebration of Julie’s life will likely be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac, with Pastor Steven Bisbee of the Hartford Normal Baptist Church officiating. Following the service, a time of fellowship and refreshments will likely be held at Jessica and Chad’s Home, 59234 Dewey St., Dowagiac, MI 49047. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations could also be made to the household. Calvin Funeral House, Hartford, has been entrusted with preparations.
