Sky Information contributor Peter Switzer says JobKeeper will seemingly be “focused regionally” if the federal government extends the scheme past the September finish date.
“Economies work with what we name a multiplyer impact,” Mr Switzer stated.
“Each injection of cash does not find yourself being a one off injection, there’s an entire collection of additional rounds of spending.
“If you, as a consequence of the lockdown, take that spending away, the multiplyer works in reverse. We do not know what the implications are going to be.”
“We have been hoping home air journey would stand up and begin working inside 4 weeks – that is gone,” he stated.
“That is going to turn into one of the crucial costly bonks of all time when you consider the implications with the dearth of protocols within the resorts in Victoria.
