Jacquelyn “Jackie” J. Garlanger, 81, of St. Joseph, MI handed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at her dwelling.
Mass of Christian Burial might be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Eugene Sears & Father Arul Lazar officiating. Entombment will happen at North Shore Reminiscence Gardens following the service. Associates might go to with the household on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph. Rosary might be recited at 7:00 PM. Jackie was born on Could eight, 1938 in St. Joseph, MI to Loren & Stella (Ziwilla) Cayo. She was a graduate of Benton Harbor Excessive College class of 1956. Jackie then went on to attend Stephens Faculty the place she acquired her affiliate’s diploma in schooling, then went on to attend Western College to obtain her Bachelor’s Diploma in Training. She had labored towards her Masters in Particular Training.
On October 26, 1963 she married Charles “Chuck” Garlanger in Benton Harbor. She cherished touring in her household’s Avion Journey Trailer which her father Loren was a founding father of. Jackie saved a busy schedule caring for her dwelling and her household. She was a former Miss Berrien County Youth Truthful and was runner up for the Miss. Benton Harbor Blossomtime Queen. She was happy with her accomplishment of bringing the particular schooling program to Fairplain Colleges. Jackie cherished spending time together with her Out To Lunch Group and going as much as their cottage on Little Star Lake. She loved watching the deer, turkeys and any wildlife in her yard and accumulating varied cookbooks and adorning books.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Chuck; sons Jeff Garlanger of Van Buren, AR and Chris Garlanger of St. Joseph; grandchildren Carsyn (JB) Rainwater and Hogan Garlanger all of Fort Smith, AR; brother Roger (Donna) Cayo of Stevensville; quite a few nieces and nephews; particular pals Rose Mayle and Anita Schultz and her canines.
She was preceded in demise by her mother and father.
