Iran claims it has detained ‘terrorist chief’ with hyperlinks to CIA

Iranian safety forces stated they detained Jamshid Sharmahd, suspected of directing the 2008 Shiraz mosque bombing which during which 14 have been killed and 215 wounded.

DW.com reported Saturday that Iranian TV confirmed a video of the imprisoned Sharmahd admitting to “…offering explosives” for the operation.

Iran didn’t specify the way it was in a position to seize the person, who had been residing in California.
