ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — The Elizabeth Metropolis Police Division is investigating a murder on Saturday afternoon.
In response to a press launch, at three:47 p.m., police responded to the realm of 607 South Highway Avenue for a report of a gunshot sufferer. When officers arrived on scene they discovered a person with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
Paramedics transported the sufferer to Sentara Albemarle Hospital after which airlifted him to Sentara Norfolk Common Hospital, the place he later died from his accidents.
Police recognized the sufferer as 19-year-old Dominique Maxwell Daguizan.
