Now underway is the annual Michigan Division of Pure Sources land public sale. DNR assets specialist Michael Michalek tells WSJM Information the company sells off properties obtained by tax reversion to assist purchase different properties or to run leisure applications. There will likely be all kinds of parcels out there.
“We have now just below 150 properties, and so they’re scattered all through the state of Michigan,” Michalek mentioned. “We have now a big clump in Allegan County, fairly a couple of in Newaygo and Lake counties. We even have some within the Higher Peninsula and the northern Decrease Peninsula.”
Most of the Allegan County properties are close to Decrease Scott Lake. There may also be one in Van Buren County, close to I-196 within the Covert space. Michalek says the DNR land public sale is completed largely on-line. The bidding began on December 10 and can finish January eight. You can find the listed properties at the DNR’s website.
