Coast Guard, native businesses looking for 2 lacking boaters close to Mosquito Level






WHITE STONE, Va. (WAVY) — The Coast Guard is looking for two males after their boat was discovered washed ashore close to the Rapphannock River on Sunday afternoon. 

Officers say 59-year-old Mark Ringenberg and 59-year-old Stephen Perkins had been recognized as the 2 males who had been on the boat that departed from Weems. 

VMRC dispatchers contacted watchstanders at Sector Hampton Roads Sunday night that keys had been discovered within the ignition of the boat, footwear on the deck and chilly drinks in a cooler close to Moqustio Level. 

A ship crew from Station Milford Haven and an helicopter crew from Air Station Elizabeth Metropolis, North Carolina is looking alongside VMRC, Lancaster County, Middlesex County and Virginia Division of Sport and Inland Fisheries.
