Chris Brown Settles Lawsuit Over Alleged Sexual Assault

UPDATE: Chris Brown has privately settled a lawsuit stemming from an alleged sexual assault that passed off in 2017, E! Information can affirm. 

On Thursday, April 16, the nameless plaintiff within the case filed courtroom paperwork requesting its dismissal. Her lawyer, Gloria Allred, tells E! Information the case was settled. Brown’s lawyer declined to remark.

A lady is suing Chris Brown claiming she was sexually assaulted on the rapper’s dwelling.

In courtroom paperwork obtained by E! Information, the plaintiff known as “Jane Doe” is suing the performer and Lowell Grissom Jr. for negligence, intentional infliction of emotional misery, battery and assault.
