The lady who accused former “Right this moment” present host Matt Lauer of rape in an interview with journalist Ronan Farrow thanked sexual abuse survivors for his or her assist in her first assertion for the reason that story broke Wednesday.
Former NBC worker Brooke Nevils made the statement on Twitter Wednesday evening, writing: “I wish to thank the various survivors who shared their tales with me right this moment and provided their assist.”
“It takes braveness, and I’m really grateful,” she added.
In his upcoming guide “Catch and Kill,” Farrow details Nevils’ allegation against Lauer, which performed out in a Russian resort room throughout the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
Lauer allegedly pressured Nevils onto a mattress within the room and anally raped her, she informed Farrow.
In a denial letter issued via his lawyer, Lauer categorically denied Nevils’ allegations.
