BRIDGEWATER – The township council might not be voting Monday evening on resolutions to request Mayor Dan Hayes and two different members of the planning board to recuse themselves from listening to the Middle of Excellence website plan software.

A vote to put the resolutions on Monday’s agenda failed at Thursday’s council work session in a tie vote. The resolutions weren’t included on the agenda posted on Friday.

The draft resolutions name for Hayes, Planning Board Chairman Ron Charles and Debra Albanese to recuse themselves from listening to the controversial software. Nonetheless, no hearings on the mission have been scheduled due to the continuing litigation between Advance Realty, the proprietor of the Route 202-206 property, and AvalonBay, the developer of the residential portion of the mission. AvalonBay alleges that Advance “has not acted in good religion.”
