Barbara A. Luthringer, 86, of Dowagiac, handed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at her dwelling surrounded by her household.

A Funeral Service might be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 603 McCleary St., Dowagiac, with Pastor David Schmidt officiating. Burial will observe at Sacred Coronary heart Cemetery. Pals might go to with the household on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Clark Chapel, 405 Heart St. Dowagiac, from four:00-Eight:00PM. Barbara was born July 7, 1932, in Dowagiac to Melbourne and Amalie “Mollie” (Behnke) Eiman. She graduated from Dowagiac Excessive College in 1950. On August 13, 1955, she married the love of her life, John Luthringer. Collectively they raised their household at Twin Lakes, northeast of Dowagiac. As a household, the Luthringer’s owned and operated the general public seashore within the mid 70’s. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dowagiac, of which her grandparents based. Barbara volunteered at Lee Memorial Hospital for a few years. She was on the Wayne Township Election Board and was a part of the Purple Hat Society. Barbara regarded ahead to assembly with the girl’s from the Purple Hat’s at McDonalds each Monday and Friday morning. In her spare time, she loved touring along with her household and associates. Most of all she liked her household, particularly her grandchildren. She might be significantly missed by all who knew her.

Barbara is survived by her youngsters, Jerry (Debbie) Luthringer of Dowagiac, John (Shauna) Luthringer of Lakeville, IN, Joseph (Cathy) Luthringer of Cassopolis, Judy Pryor of Climax and Jan (Dave) Nichols of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Christy Mroczek, Cara Mroczek, Jason Luthringer, Walter Mroczek III, Sarah Rupp, Jennifer Allen, Taylor McIntyre, David Luthringer, Ryan Nichols, Anna Luthringer and Michael Luthringer; 10 great-grandchildren and sister Jerrie Cooke. She was preceded in demise by her husband John Luthringer, daughter-in-law Mary Okay. (Kingman) Luthringer and son-in-law Todd Pryor.
