2 folks taken to hospital following Guelph house hearth


A tenant and a police officer have been taken to hospital following a basement apartment fire on Monday night time, based on the Guelph Fire Department.

Emergency crews say they discovered smoke coming from the constructing at 99 Sunnylea Cres. after they arrived at round 11 p.m.

Officers stated crews rapidly extinguished a smouldering mattress and eliminated it from the constructing.

The construction was evacuated, based on the hearth division. Residents have been reportedly compelled onto a Guelph Transit bus whereas the constructing was ventilated, however they have been ultimately allowed to return inside, hearth officers stated.
