Born June 16, 1932, in Monroe, Ron was the son of the late Lee and Angeline (Anast) Swartz. Ron was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary Catholic Church in Monroe. He additionally attended St. Mary Grade Faculty and was a 1950 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central the place he performed basketball.
Ron served his nation honorably as a Corporal in the USA Military, serving from December 10, 1952, to November 24, 1954. He acquired the Military of Occupation Medal and the Nationwide Protection Service Medal.
On August 27, 1955, Ron married the previous Bonnie M. Moyers at St. Mary Catholic Church in Monroe.

Swartz of Ypsilanti, MI, Patricia M. (Chris) Prepare dinner of Ida, MI, and Judith M. (Kyle) Harris of Luna Pier, 26 grandchildren, 23 nice grandchildren, a sister; Sandra (Loren) Blum of Warren, MI, and Kenneth (Rose) Swartz of Monroe.
In line with household needs a personal graveside service can be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Erie, MI, with Ron’s grandson, Fr. Ronald Conklin, L.C., officiating. A celebration of Ron’s life with household and mates, can be held at a later date.
