RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The renovation works of the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon will begin this week. The announcement was made by the Municipal Secretary of the Setting, Bernardo Egas, on Friday, January 10th.
Initially, seven decks across the water can be refurbished, changing the rotten wooden and rebuilding the guardrail to guard customers.
“We performed a survey of the environment of the lagoon and the Rainha and Dos Macacos Rivers, which stream into it, and heard complaints from residents about irregular leaks into the channels of those rivers,” mentioned Bernardo Egas.
