BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (AP) – A pilot died in a small aircraft crash north of Vancouver, Washington, police mentioned.
At about 9:20 a.m. Monday, a resident west of the non-public Dawn Airport close to the city of Battle Floor reported seeing an ultralight airplane probably crash close to the runway, based on the Clark County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The sheriff’s workplace says emergency personnel and deputies discovered the plane, which had crashed in some brush alongside the East Fork of the Lewis River.
The pilot was pronounced useless on the scene. The sheriff’s workplace says the pilot was the one one on board. Authorities are investigating.
The pilot’s title has not been launched.
