Manitoba snowmobilers die in separate weekend crashes

Two Manitobans are useless after RCMP officers from Churchill and Killarney responded to separate snowmobile collisions over the weekend.

On Saturday, simply after 1:15 p.m., Killarney RCMP had been known as to a report of a snowmobile collision  north-west of the group of Ninette.


Police stated a 28-year-old male, from the RM of Prairie Lakes, was travelling northbound on the aspect of the highway when it seems he could have veered off and collided with a tree. The driving force, who was not sporting a helmet, was taken to hospital the place he later died from his accidents.

The next morning at shortly after 7:30 a.m., officers from the Churchill RCMP Detachment acquired a report of a snowmobile collision in a again lane within the northern Manitoba group.

On this incident, police stated a 20-year-old male, from Churchill, was travelling northbound down the again lane when his snowmobile collided with a south going through flat deck semi-trailer. The driving force, who was not sporting a helmet, was pronounced useless on the scene.
